Tobia Repossi introduces Camera Vista, an innovative inventory tracker designed to revolutionize supermarket management. Resembling a Stormtrooper's helmet, this device is aptly nicknamed "Star Wars" and is set to transform the way supermarkets monitor their inventory.

The Camera Vista is a game-changer for supermarkets, as it can be shelf or fridge-mounted to detect out-of-stock items, planogram non-compliance, foreign product contamination, and pricing inaccuracies. This real-time data allows for efficient monitoring of coolers and shelves, enabling immediate adjustments and customer profiling.

Constructed from injection-molded ABS in 7 interconnected pieces, the Camera Vista houses two cameras and operates on 2 AA batteries. Its adaptability to different environments reduces molding and stock costs, making it a cost-effective solution for supermarket management.

Designed to be user-friendly, the Camera Vista's two cameras can be positioned during assembly to accommodate different angles of vision, catering to various distances and mountings. With minimal user intervention required post-installation, this innovative device offers unparalleled adaptability and ease of use.

The project, led by Tobia Repossi and Nicolò Castagnini, took 6 months from brief to distribution. Developed in Italy, with PCB design in India, production in China, and global distribution, the Camera Vista is a testament to international collaboration and innovation.

This groundbreaking design was recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in 2022, solidifying its status as a well-designed, practical, and innovative creation that meets professional and industrial requirements.
