Wellem Pediatric: Redefining Pediatric Healthcare

Wellem Pediatric, a state-of-the-art optometry center, draws inspiration from the mysterious planet Wellem, integrating advanced medical equipment and a futuristic space station concept. Led by Dr. Kangkang, the project aims to provide a welcoming and non-intimidating environment for children in need of medical care.

Based in the United States, Wellem Pediatric brings the American private medical concept to China, focusing on a preventive and health-oriented approach. The design incorporates elements of the ocean and space, creating a playful and soothing atmosphere to alleviate children's fear of medical procedures.

The 1440 square meter space features a unique ocean station theme, with curved designs and spacecraft elements, offering an enjoyable and private experience for young patients. The project, initiated in March 2019 and completed in May 2019, was exhibited in Shanghai, showcasing its innovative design and functionality.

Jason Chan, the mastermind behind Wellem Pediatric, emphasizes breaking design stereotypes and integrating human factors and social culture into her projects. The innovative approach of the Jason Design Group has earned accolades, including the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its exceptional creativity and technical prowess.
