FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Renowned designer Juan Eugenio Mallo Camera has unveiled the remarkable transformation of the Equador Energia gas station in Manaus, Brazil. The Posto P10 project represents a revolutionary approach to gas station design, aiming to redefine the fuel sales market in Brazil. Inspired by monumentalism and eco-friendly concepts, the design sets a new benchmark for the industry.
This project is a pivotal part of the brand's visual identity unification, resulting in an improved flagship gas station. The design boasts a Startingate model with expansive dimensions, allowing for the seamless flow of natural light and traffic. With 40.00m of free light in the longitudinal direction and 11.00m in the transversal direction, the station offers a modern and inviting space for both vehicles and pedestrians.
Utilizing a combination of metal and reinforced concrete, the design features an aesthetically pleasing canopy that exudes modernity and lightness. The translucent ceiling creates a perpetual illumination effect, enhancing the station's visibility and appeal both day and night. The prominent brand panel on the front and back ensures clear identification, further establishing its presence as a flagship station.
Posto P10 has significantly transformed the cityscape of Manaus, bringing enhanced lighting and status to the area. The station's impact extends beyond aesthetics, as it has facilitated increased movement of vehicles and pedestrians. Furthermore, it is expected to drive the development of new shops in the area, leveraging its status as a flagship station with a substantial customer base.
This ambitious project commenced in November 2017 and culminated in the grand reopening in July 2020. The design process involved extensive market research and a deep understanding of the local community, enabling the creation of a gas station that not only meets but exceeds global design standards.
