LINE2PIXELS DESIGN STUDIO unveils Curvo, a Wabi-Sabi inspired show unit, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, offering a harmonious blend of organic curves and earthy tones, capturing the essence of imperfection and authenticity.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LINE2PIXELS DESIGN STUDIO introduces Curvo, a show unit inspired by the Wabi-Sabi philosophy, reflecting the beauty in imperfection. The design seamlessly integrates organic curves and paneling, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere within a 1,110sqft 3-bedroom apartment.
The space is adorned with earthy, muted tones such as browns, greys, beiges, and natural green, reminiscent of traditional Japanese homes. The use of lime wash paint finish, natural wood laminate, and travertine stone further enhances the tranquil ambiance, embodying the essence of Wabi-Sabi.
To bring this concept to life, the project commenced in October 2022 and was completed in January 2023, with a public launch in February 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The design team, led by Design Director Wee Chong Pui and Designer Chloe Chung, overcame the challenge of maximizing the small space without compromising on aesthetics, resulting in a truly special and individualized space that embraces the principles of Wabi-Sabi.
Curvo has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2023, showcasing outstanding expertise and innovation in interior space, retail, and exhibition design.
