Elegant Attitude: Redefining Residential Space Design

Lin Feng-An's Elegant Attitude project is a testament to the designer's ability to blend art, functionality, and personal significance into a cohesive living space. The 133-square-foot area features large, strategically placed windows that not only flood the space with natural light but also provide unobstructed views, forming the focal point of the entire design.

The integration of the owner's porcelain collection is a standout feature of the design. Specially crafted porcelain pieces in the entrance represent significant milestones in the owner's life, adding a personal touch to the space. The use of gray luminous elements on the floors and walls serves as a backdrop for the collection, creating a visually captivating display.

One of the design's key strengths lies in the innovative use of sliding doors and open living spaces. The active sliding door design behind the living room sofa allows for flexible adjustments, creating a dynamic visual focal point. The open layout of the dining and kitchen area not only promotes interaction but also enhances the overall sense of spaciousness.

Throughout the project, the designer's meticulous attention to detail is evident. By carefully balancing lighting, material usage, and color tones, Lin Feng-An has successfully captured the essence of the four seasons, allowing the tenant to experience the changing expressions of nature through the exterior windows.

Lin Feng-An's Elegant Attitude project was honored with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. This recognition underscores the project's exceptional creativity, technical prowess, and its contribution to enhancing the quality of life through innovative design.
