37 Interactive Entertainment Global HQ

Guowei Zhang, in collaboration with Ping Wang and Luoxu Hua, has designed the 37 Interactive Entertainment Global HQ, a high-rise building that embodies the corporate culture of 37 Interactive Entertainment. The design aims to create a joyful spatial perception, spiritual inspiration, and a sense of belonging for its users, integrating architectural form, spatial experiences, ventilation, and lighting.

The comprehensive use of modules in plan and elevation design reduces construction time and cost while maintaining quality. The modular façade system adapts to the Lingnan region's climate, ensuring sufficient natural lighting, reducing solar radiation, and controlling energy usage efficiently.

To meet the need for spatial flexibility, the design incorporates various modules for offices, conferences, and events, allowing for irregular function switching. The design also addresses core MEP systems challenges such as HVAC and elevator usage efficiency.

Founded in Boston, USA, GWP (Yuanshang Architecture Co., ltd) has set up China regional headquarters and overseas project branches in Guangzhou and Hong Kong, China. The projects involved in research and practice have spread all over the world. With international vision and expertise, GWP has carried out project practices in urban planning and architectural design integration.

Guowei Zhang, the mastermind behind this innovative design, hails from Guangzhou, China, and has been awarded the prestigious A' Design Award in 2022 for this groundbreaking project.
