Ali Sharifi Omid unveils Khayyam, a modern table design inspired by ancient Iranian architecture, featuring geometric patterns and stainless steel construction.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ali Sharifi Omid presents Khayyam, a modern table design inspired by ancient Iranian architecture and geometric patterns. The table, made of stainless steel, stands as a functional yet artistic piece suitable for both office and home spaces. The design process involved intricate CNC laser cutting and machining to achieve high-quality construction, with a focus on concealing welding places for a seamless finish.
Measuring 550mm in diameter and 510mm in height, the table weighs 12kg and is a testament to Omid's goal of achieving high quality without the need for costly molding processes. The use of CNC technology has minimized human error in the design's intricate details, ensuring precision and excellence.
Khayyam is a fusion of traditional Iranian motifs with a modern touch, reflecting Omid's dedication to creating furniture that embodies postmodern spirit while drawing from the rich architectural heritage of Iran. The design, part of the Haf collection, is a result of Omid's year-long research on Iranian-Islamic geometric designs and patterns, culminating in a contemporary piece that resonates with the modern lifestyle.
