Jianyang Donglai Impression

The Jianyang Donglai Impression project, designed by Peng Xiaohua, Chen Qi, and Deng Juan, is a groundbreaking cultural center located in Jianyang City, Sichuan Province, China. The project, completed in May 2022, spans approximately 450 mu of land and boasts a construction area of about 198,000 square meters. It aims to create an urban living room and study, presenting an urban green park, an architectural complex of ancient Shu culture, and a multi-functional three-dimensional urban landmark.

The design of the cultural hall features hollow LOW-EB glass with varying thicknesses, providing excellent sound and lighting performance, as well as thermal insulation. The multi-functional hall incorporates reflectors and sound speakers to enhance the acoustic experience, creating a uniform sound field and excellent sound effects.

The project's design draws inspiration from the texture of the stone road, folding fan, and famous embroidery patterns, reflecting the cultural center's ambiance. It seamlessly integrates pastoral scenery and traditional Chinese auspicious patterns, representing endless ideas and inheritance.

The Jianyang Donglai Impression project has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2023. This prestigious accolade acknowledges the project's outstanding and creatively ingenious design, contributing to quality of life improvements and making the world a better place.
