Chong-Yi Chen's "Profoundness of Structures" is a groundbreaking architectural and interior design project that seamlessly integrates residential and exhibition spaces, catering to the needs of an artist owner. The design features a captivating building exterior that houses artwork exhibitions, a residence, and a studio, creating a harmonious blend of functionality and artistic expression. The unique building structure of architectural grilles ensures optimal lighting, ventilation, and temperature regulation, addressing the challenges posed by Taiwan's subtropical climate while conserving energy and preserving the natural environment.

The project, completed in November 2017 in Tainan, Taiwan, showcases the innovative use of materials such as fair-faced concrete, steel, and glass, creating a visually stunning and environmentally conscious living space. The multi-functional design incorporates art exhibitions and living quarters, offering a seamless fusion of art and everyday life. The interior spaces are thoughtfully designed to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere, with wooden textures and natural elements enhancing the overall aesthetic.

Recognized for its exceptional design, "Profoundness of Structures" was honored with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. This prestigious accolade celebrates the project's outstanding creativity, technical skill, and contribution to enhancing the quality of life through innovative design.
