Chong-Yi Chen's Pure Essences project is a testament to innovative architectural and exhibition interior design. The fair-faced concretes and low-key colors harmonize with the surrounding environment, offering a breathtaking view of the outdoor garden landscape. The interior design, meticulously crafted to consider the working environment, water landscape, and plants, creates a pleasant ambiance for the architecture firm.

The building's exterior, adorned with fair-faced concretes and delicate grey slates, showcases the essence of design without overdecoration. The construction method, featuring gradually recessed building volumes, maximizes the use of space and allows ample sunlight to bathe the balcony, embodying the design philosophy that "less is more."

Completed in December 2014 in Tainan, Taiwan, the Pure Essences project has garnered acclaim, winning the Silver A' Design Award in 2020 for its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence. This prestigious accolade recognizes the project's strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, introducing positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
