Diaoyutai Liquor Packaging Design by Wei Dai Wins Silver A' Design Award

CHINA -- /DESIGN/newswire -- Aug 17, 2019

Wei Dai's Diaoyutai Liquor Packaging Design, inspired by ancient Chinese royal symbols, wins Silver A' Design Award for its unique and environmentally friendly approach.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Diaoyutai Liquor Packaging Design

Wei Dai's Diaoyutai Liquor Packaging Design draws inspiration from ancient Chinese royal symbols, particularly the dragon, to create a high-end Chinese wine packaging. The design juxtaposes traditional and simple elements, with a focus on integrating the royal lowkey introverted temperament, resulting in a visually solemn and unique Chinese style.

The packaging is made of recyclable paper material for the outer box and traditional Chinese ceramic material for the bottle, emphasizing environmental friendliness, beauty, and durability. With dimensions of 145mm x 115mm x 285mm, the design exudes a sense of grandeur and elegance.

The project, initiated in July 2017 in Beijing and completed in March 2018 in Shenzhen, received the prestigious If Packaging Design Award in Germany in January 2019, recognizing its exceptional creativity and innovation.
