Pony Pack Tea: A Fusion of Tradition and Modernity

Qian Xiang's Pony Pack Tea has been awarded the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2020 for its innovative and culturally rich packaging design. The inspiration for this unique tea packaging comes from the traditional tea-making process, combining centuries-old techniques with modern scientific management. The design features the superposition of writing styles from different ages, symbolizing the inheritance of quality across time.

The Pony Pack Tea stands out with its relatively obscure design idea, using the text of different ages as the main body of the tea process to connect heritage. The design incorporates canvas slanting across the belt tea bag, rope tightening knot type, screen printing, bronzing, convex, and simple texture paper, showcasing a blend of traditional and modern realization technologies.

Targeted at middle and high-end consumers aged 25-45, the Pony Pack Tea encapsulates the Oriental spirit and cultural background, offering a unique and aesthetically pleasing collection-level gift packaging. The design reflects a deep understanding of the high-end consumer group's demand for quality, historical origin, and aesthetic appeal in packaging design.

Developed in Changsha, Hunan Province, China, the Pony Pack Tea project faced challenges in exploring the historical origin of the brand while ensuring the cost of packaging form would not lead to soaring production costs. The project's core concept is rooted in the characteristics of tea product inheritance and development over time, conveying the change in the process of tea products through the evolution of Chinese characters in different ages.

Qian Xiang's Pony Pack Tea has been recognized for its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence, earning the Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category. The design not only showcases strong technical characteristics but also introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder, making it a deserving recipient of this prestigious accolade.
