Architect Christos Pavlou unveils The Linear, a breathtaking rural house design inspired by the linear patterns of vineyards and olive groves in Limassol, Cyprus. The house, spanning 607 sq.m. on a 1517 sq.m. site, embraces a linear typology to maximize unobstructed views, creating strong connections between inhabitants and the surrounding nature. The design, completed in 2018, seamlessly integrates with the Mediterranean landscape, offering a modern retreat amidst nature.

The house's unique features include a sliding sun-blocking aluminum screen, double-height living space with glazed bridges, and a mesh sun-screen that remodels the appearance of the house, providing both protection and transparency. The use of locally sourced materials, such as limestone, concrete, clay bricks, and timber, reflects the architect's commitment to sustainability and harmony with the environment.
