1983ASIA introduces Menogga, a branding design project inspired by the cultural heritage of the Zhuang minority, completed in March 2018 in Guangxi, China.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
1983ASIA's Menogga branding design project draws inspiration from the rich cultural tapestry of the Zhuang minority, one of the many ethnic groups in China. The project aims to showcase and promote the captivating traditions of the Zhuang minority, particularly the story of the Menogga goddess, to a global audience.
The design encapsulates the essence of the Menogga legend, which symbolizes the natural connotations of the female spirit, fraternity, and tolerance within the Zhuang culture. By infusing modern design elements with traditional Zhuang imagery, 1983ASIA seeks to preserve and propagate the aesthetic and historical significance of Menogga.
Utilizing advanced technology such as AI, PS, and other software, 1983ASIA scanned traditional Zhuang minority fabric featuring the Menogga image to create a visually stunning brand identity. The project also includes the design of various derivatives, including clothing, packaging, and umbrellas, showcasing the versatility and adaptability of the Menogga concept.
1983ASIA's Menogga project is underpinned by extensive research into the Zhuang minority culture, involving interactions with local communities in Guangxi province and in-depth study of relevant literature. The team overcame creative and technical challenges to seamlessly integrate ancient cultural elements into contemporary design, aiming to bridge the gap between traditional Asian culture and modern visual expression.
The Menogga branding design not only serves as a visual representation of the Zhuang minority's cultural heritage but also as a testament to 1983ASIA's commitment to preserving and celebrating the diverse traditions of Asia.
