Deeper Roots Stronger Branches: The Philosophy of Self-Development

Dmitry Kudinov introduces "Ronin," a character reflecting the philosophy of self-development and personal values. The limited edition silkscreen print, measuring 500 x 700 mm, embodies the essence of a man without a master, emphasizing the journey of self-discovery and professional growth. The project, initiated in 2014, culminated in a month-long collaboration with Print Screen Studio, resulting in 14 hand-numbered and signed copies.

The character Ronin is a manifestation of Kudinov's personal and professional qualities, inspired by the samurai outlaw ronin. The design, realized through silkscreen printing with tinted lacquer on 270 g paper, captures the formidable and intimidating essence of the character, drawing from samurai culture and the symbolism of the mask, armor, and helmet.

The realization of the prints took place at the Crystal Cluster in Moscow, representing a meticulous process that paid attention to every detail, from paper selection to the final print quality. The design, awarded Bronze in the A' Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design Award in 2022, stands as a testament to Kudinov's dedication to merging personal and professional values into a captivating visual representation.
