Packaging Design "Taiyuan ZHI Yuanyi" by li zuo

Moutai Group's "Taiyuan ZHI Yuanyi" packaging design, created by li zuo, was inspired by the element of water, symbolizing the emotional essence of liquor. The design incorporates patterns of seawater, cliffs, and traditional auspicious decorations, representing happiness and longevity.

The unique feature of "ZHI" lies in its departure from the traditional Moutai imprint, retaining only the bottle shape while enhancing it. The design was realized using the innovative technique of baking flowers in glass bottles, resulting in a distinctive and captivating product.

The project commenced in Maotai in April 2017 and was completed in August 2017. It presented the challenge of breaking the consistent style of Maotai's design, ultimately achieving a remarkable and award-winning result.
