Discover the innovative packaging design for Sparkling Juice by Mao Ming, a captivating fusion of hand-drawn illustrations, animal imagery, and fruit labels, designed to appeal to young consumers.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Mao Ming's Sparkling Juice packaging design is a testament to creativity and innovation in beverage packaging. The design features hand-drawn illustrations of flamingos, leopards, giraffes, and chameleons, interacting with fruit labels, creating a visually engaging and unique product. The combination of animal and fruit images brings a sense of liveliness and playfulness to the packaging, perfectly aligning with the brand's theme.
One of the standout features of the design is the integration of the label with the shape of the glass bottle. The beveled label not only complements the curvature of the bottle but also serves as a subtle reminder of the juice's refreshing taste. The use of hot silver printing and bump techniques adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the packaging, making it visually appealing and distinctive on the shelf.
Despite its creative brilliance, the design posed technical challenges, particularly in labeling the uniquely shaped glass bottles. However, through meticulous adjustments to the labeling process, the team overcame these obstacles, ensuring that the final product not only looked beautiful but also maintained its functionality.
From its inception in October 2018 to its completion in February 2019 in Zhejiang, China, the Sparkling Juice packaging design has garnered praise for its ability to capture the essence of the product and resonate with consumers. The project's success is further underscored by its recognition, including the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020, a testament to its outstanding creativity and ingenuity.
