Orinnoro - Handcrafted Recycled Glass Jar

Sini Majuri's Orinnoro jar is a stunning example of sustainable design, hand-shaped from recycled waste glass to reflect the serene atmosphere of the Orinniro gorge in central Finland. The jar stands at 65 cm tall and is a testament to the designer's commitment to preserving craftsmanship and the environment. Each jar boasts a unique color hue, achieved through a modern interpretation of the classic Incalmo glass blowing technique, ensuring that every piece is one-of-a-kind.

The Orinnoro jar is designed to create harmonious moments in everyday life, encouraging a sense of calm and serenity. Its interaction with light and environment creates vivid and dynamic shadows, adding to its allure. The project, which began in 2021, was first exhibited at the Venice Glass Week 2021 and is now showcased at the Museum of Fine Arts Eemil in Lapinlahti.

Sini Majuri, based in Helsinki, Finland, has received international recognition for her glass art, with exhibitions in the USA, Japan, China, Europe, and Canada. The Orinnoro jar has been awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, a testament to its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that contributes to improving the quality of life.
