Residence Design Showcasing Uniformity and Simplicity

Jung Chi Hsu's "Glamorous Uniformity" is a luxurious residence design that emphasizes uniformity and simplicity. It features a dark metal wall of cabinets extending to the ceiling, a white marble kitchen island, and fabric textures in coherence with grand fabric curtains, creating a sense of flow and elegance. The project, completed in August 2010 in Taichung, Taiwan, was awarded Bronze in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021.

The area of the project is approximately 81 square meters, with a layout that combines two bedrooms into a sizable master bedroom and transforms the originally separated kitchen and dining room into a spacious open kitchen and dining hall. The design also optimizes functionality in the limited space by adding more storage in public and private areas.

The project showcases a blend of warm and cold colors, bold and soft materials, and contrasts that fuse together to create a luxurious yet understated atmosphere. The use of Japanese HDP High-Density Printing metal plate, melanin board, white marble stone, modular cabinets with fabric textures, fabric texture wallpaper, black mirror, and polished quartz floor tiles contributes to the unique aesthetic of the design.
