Architect Cristina Menezes introduces Casa Acqua, a groundbreaking residential house designed to promote healthy living in Brazil's dry tropical climate. Inspired by the first Roman dwellings, Casa Acqua features a unique O-shaped floor plan with an inner courtyard, surrounded by water mirrors symbolizing a central fountain. The design prioritizes sustainability, utilizing prefabricated modules to reduce construction impact on nature, construction time, and cost.

Casa Acqua is a testament to innovation, utilizing prefabricated modules and synthetic coatings to minimize waste and environmental impact. The house spans 210 square meters, including water mirrors, and is fully open to seamlessly integrate with the outdoor environment, providing natural light and ventilation.

Constructed in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, Casa Acqua was completed in September 2021, offering a unique living experience for a young couple seeking to embrace nature, light, and ventilation in the midst of a pandemic.
