Sustainable Architecture: Redefining Modern Minimalism

The Sustainable Architecture project by KAITI CHANG is a testament to redefining modern minimalism in residential design. The 198-square meter space features a thoughtfully divided layout, including a living room, dining room, kitchen, study room, three bedrooms, and four bathrooms. The design team's approach focuses on creating a relaxing and modern residence, utilizing a combination of black, white, and wood tones to establish a comfortable living environment.

One of the unique features of this project is the incorporation of the client's love for travel into the design. The sliding door of the dining area is adorned with a large world map, allowing the client to mark the places they have visited, adding a personal touch to the space.

Furthermore, the project emphasizes sustainability and environmental consciousness by utilizing high-quality and eco-friendly materials, such as aluminum light bars, laser-engraved metal plates, coral paint, imported wood grain bricks, marble, and mirror surfaces. This careful selection of materials reflects the client's appreciation for building materials and contributes to the creation of a comfortable and environmentally friendly home.

The design team's meticulous attention to detail is evident throughout the project, from the semi-open kitchen with added fire protection equipment to the reconfigured door layout of the master bedroom, aimed at enhancing the overall living quality of the residents.

Recognizing the project's innovative approach and exceptional design, Sustainable Architecture was honored with the Iron A' Design Award in 2021, showcasing its practicality, innovation, and adherence to professional and industrial standards. The project's successful integration of industry best practices and technical characteristics has contributed to a better world, earning it this prestigious accolade.
