Fundesign.tv introduces "The Glimmer," a tape art train installation that transforms the urban imagery of Kaohsiung City into a moving lantern. The train, adorned with self-glowing tapes and luminous foils, commemorates the Taiwan Lantern Festival, using sunlight-absorbing materials to emit a radiant glow at night.
The exterior of the train features nearly 110 square meters of tape art, showcasing the city's vibrant landscapes, while the interior is adorned with luminous foils and changing lights, representing the complex transportation system of the city.
By utilizing innovative tape art techniques and light-storing materials, "The Glimmer" invites passengers to become part of the glimmering light, creating an immersive experience that flows through the city. The installation runs from January 28 to March 31, 2022, offering a unique artistic journey for residents and visitors of Kaohsiung.
