Revolutionary Design Transforms Home Spaces

Fabrizio Constanza, a renowned artist and designer, has unveiled a groundbreaking creation - the Home Bar and Coffee Spinning Ambient. This innovative piece of furniture is designed to enhance the experience of tasting exquisite liquor, wines, and coffee, captivating users with its technological possibilities and unique design.

The Home Bar and Coffee Spinning Ambient is a complex composition that seamlessly transitions between a cozy reading or coffee drinking setting to a sophisticated liquor and bar tasting environment. This multifunctional furniture features automation control and illumination technology, a rotating platform, and a blend of traditional wood and metal craftsmanship, all aimed at elevating the user experience.

Manufactured across two countries and involving 10 companies, this project required precision CNC manufacturing, traditional metal and woodworking, as well as expertise in various other fields such as stonework, electricity, glasswork, and stainless steel. The final product measures 3350mm x 4500mm x 2800mm, offering a versatile and compact solution for modern living spaces.

Operable via a smartphone or tablet through an automation app, the Home Bar and Coffee Spinning Ambient can also be controlled through a wall-mounted panel, providing users with seamless access to its rotating and lighting scenarios. The project, which commenced in December 2020, was completed in November 2021, marking a significant milestone in the realm of multifunctional furniture design.

Fabrizio Constanza's design process for this project involved extensive research to understand the client's vision, ultimately culminating in the realization of a dream - a rotating ambient reminiscent of scenes from movies. Overcoming challenges such as finding the ideal rotating platform and designing two distinct ambiences, Constanza's creation stands as a testament to his innovative approach and commitment to pushing the boundaries of functional art.

Fabrizio Constanza, hailing from Coral Gables, United States, has been widely recognized for his contributions to the world of art and design. His body of work, which spans conceptual art and functional art, has garnered accolades from prestigious platforms, including the A' Design Award, where the Home Bar and Coffee Spinning Ambient was honored with the Iron A' Design Award in 2022.
