Jan Ham's Fuhome: A Modern Warehouse-Style Dream House

Jan Ham's Fuhome project, spanning 2,228 sq. ft in Hung Hom, is a testament to innovative residential design. The space features an open kitchen, a playroom, a laundry room, and a shared room for children, all meticulously integrated to create a happy and harmonious dream house. The project, realized in 2020 and completed in February 2021, reflects the designer's dedication to redefining residential spaces.

The design's unique properties, including its massive area and clever spatial pattern of 4 halls and 6 rooms, set it apart. The use of furniture from Massive Dynamic and TM Maison, lighting from Paso Lighting, and other high-quality materials further enhance its appeal.

One of the notable challenges overcome in the design process was addressing the issue of oil smoke during cooking, which was ingeniously resolved with the use of iron mesh glass black frame sliding doors in the open kitchen.

The Fuhome project was awarded the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing its practical and innovative design that meets professional and industrial requirements.
