LagunaVerde: Redefining Residential Living

Jan Ham's LagunaVerde is a residential house that stands out with its innovative design and unique features. The house boasts a saleable area of 1091 sq.ft and features two halls separated by different floor materials, creating a concise yet elegant layout. The walls and cabinets are adorned with snow dolomite texture, cloth color, and floral lines, adding a touch of sophistication to the space. The use of gold accents further enhances the overall aesthetic appeal.

The design incorporates advanced technology and high-quality materials, including iron, mud brick, wood, formica, and vinyl tile. The interior is furnished by Massive Dynamic Interior Design Ltd., and the space is adorned with wallpaper from Tat Ming Wallpaper and paint from Nippon Paint. The AV equipment includes top-notch brands such as Bose and Sony, ensuring a seamless blend of technology and design.

With a useful area of 1091 square feet, LagunaVerde features a spatial pattern of 2 halls and 2 rooms, offering a well-defined and functional living space. The design team, led by Chief Designer Ham, Kwok Fung, and Designer Suen, On Tin, has meticulously crafted this residential house to redefine modern living.

Jan Ham's vision for LagunaVerde was inspired by the concept of integrating spaces to enhance functionality and visual appeal. By opening the kitchen to a semi-open style and separating it with a glass door, the design maximizes natural light and seamlessly integrates the kitchen into the living room. This innovative approach not only enhances the visual space but also provides visitors with an inviting and functional environment.

The design also addresses the challenge of integrating corridors near the window, allowing for cross ventilation in the common and private areas. This thoughtful approach demonstrates Jan Ham's commitment to optimizing the living experience through creative and practical design solutions.

Jan Ham's LagunaVerde has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This accolade celebrates the design's outstanding creativity, technical excellence, and its contribution to enhancing the quality of life.
