Reception Design: Promenade with Elegance

Yu-Lin Shih's "Promenade with Elegance" is a mesmerizing reception design that seamlessly blends nature's beauty with modern elegance, offering a welcoming oasis for urban visitors. Completed in November 2020 in Taiwan, this 661 square meter space is a testament to the designer's ingenuity and creativity.

Under Shih's meticulous planning, the project features a large ship-like structure adorned with organic materials, creating a vibrant and open space. The building's facade, reminiscent of a solemn pipe organ, sets the stage for a harmonious interplay between guests and nature.

The design's unique properties are further accentuated by the use of natural stone, wood, and innovative lighting, which collectively evoke a sense of refined simplicity and elegance. The space exudes a serene ambiance, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature.

Entering the building, guests are greeted by an open hall with large windows that showcase the surrounding pine trees, while the high ceiling space is adorned with upright pipes that reflect natural light, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The theme wall made of natural stone adds a touch of sophistication to the space.

Yu-Lin Shih, along with Wun-Huei Lyu and Ling-Chun Tseng, has masterfully crafted a reception venue that transcends traditional design boundaries, offering a modern and inviting space for private gatherings and events. The design has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2022, underscoring its exceptional creativity and contribution to quality of life improvements.
