Warmth: Redefining Residential Living

Ting Chin Wang's residential apartment design, "Warmth," reimagines living spaces with a focus on openness, functionality, and warmth. Inspired by the desire for a bright, wooden-toned atmosphere, the design seamlessly integrates an open parent-child activity area, creating a complete large space by removing the original kitchen wall and fire door. The Japanese-inspired ambiance sets the stage for a unique and inviting living experience.

The entrance features a white floating shoe cabinet, setting a light and welcoming tone. Wooden holes on walls serve as functional decor, while the TV wall is adorned with Italian plaster to regulate moisture and absorb formaldehyde. The design cleverly combines storage solutions with multifunctional elements, such as the desk and dining table, maximizing space efficiency.

Utilizing innovative technology and thoughtful planning, the design optimizes storage and visual scale, creating a seamless and interactive living environment for the family. The absence of formal partition walls fosters an open and flowing field, promoting interaction and connectivity among the living room, kitchen, and study area.
