FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ting Chin Wang's Bathing Forest is a unique residential apartment that redefines space to meet the specific needs of the single male house owner. The design integrates wood grain, cement, and other natural textures to create a Japanese style, providing a soft and relaxed sense of space. The 67 sqm apartment, located in Taiwan, was completed in February 2023.
The design features a Tatami room with a high rack combined with sliding doors to meet the fitness, guest accommodation, and leisure needs of the owner. The space pattern has been fine-tuned to reduce the master bedroom and create a dressing room, optimizing the spatial layout. The walls flanking the entrance have been extended to incorporate additional storage solutions, addressing the challenge of limited space in the kitchen. The use of glass materials and iron display cabinets as compartments has improved the visual brightness of the corridor.
Furthermore, the living room has been designed with glass compartments to create a room area, providing a complete and open space when the glass door is opened. The living room replaces the standard sofa group with a separate single sofa, extending the spatial scale in a casual arrangement. The high floor of the room area functions as a chair, allowing the owner and friends to comfortably interact without being blocked by the back of a chair when watching TV.
