Archermit introduces the Cloud Mirror, a groundbreaking cemetery building, aiming to embody a harmonious, peaceful, and warm humanistic landscape atmosphere.

Archermit, a leading design team, has unveiled the Cloud Mirror, a revolutionary cemetery building at Shijiazhuang Ander Memorial Park. The design aims to respect traditional Chinese culture while transforming the concept of traditional cemeteries, focusing on landscaping, artistry, and personalization.
The Cloud Mirror seeks to create emotion-free warm spaces, embodying a harmonious, peaceful, relaxed, and warm humanistic landscape atmosphere with a strong sense of ceremony and artistry. The goal is to achieve a symbiotic and joyful coexistence between humans and nature.
The design team, led by Principal Architect Youcai Pan and Design Director Zhe Yang, has meticulously integrated traditional Chinese culture with modern technology to create this innovative structure.
The Cloud Mirror is a service center for the cemetery, covering a building area of 2219ã¡. It features a star-shaped element with a focus on the imagery of stars, nebula, and constellations, particularly the Big Dipper, which holds significant cultural symbolism in traditional Chinese culture.
Located at Nangou, Biao Village, Wujia Yao Township, Jingxing County, Shijiazhuang, the project was completed in January 2023. The design team includes talented individuals such as Technical Director Renzhen Chen and the dedicated design team members.
Archermit, founded in Chengdu, China, in April 2015, is the pioneer and practitioner of the Imagist Theory of Architecture. The core concept of Archermit is to create a new multidimensional space experience and a poetic space environment with emotion and vitality. The design team is known for advocating refined design and full-process design exploration mode, integrating contemporary and local aspects of Chinese architecture.
