Ris Interior Design Co., Ltd. Unveils the Lush Purline Project in Taichung City, Taiwan

Ris Interior Design Co., Ltd. proudly presents the Lush Purline project, a remarkable house interior design conceptualized by the talented Hsin Ting Weng. Completed in October 2023, this 5-story townhouse in Taichung City, Taiwan, embodies the coexistence of four generations under one roof, blending modern minimalism with the interdependent relationship between coldness, organic, order, and freedom.

The design scheme of Lush Purline aims to interlace the physiological needs and emotional appeals of each generation demographic, maintaining a low profile with full consideration for daily life. The shared space caters to the needs of four generations, utilizing materials from different eras to represent personal characteristics that span generations. The harmonious coexistence of rationality and sensibility is symbolized through the thoughtful integration of arcs to replace right angles, creating a rhythmical surface with curves, voids, and solids.

One of the notable challenges overcome in the design process was respecting the habit differences of the family members. The layout was deliberately demarcated into shared and exclusive areas by incorporating sliding doors, offering flexibility to satisfy variant scenarios while maintaining a cohesive design aesthetic.

Hsin Ting Weng, a visionary designer with a background in visual communication design and architecture, has successfully brought together the past and the present in the Lush Purline project. The design was honored with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2024, recognizing its outstanding creativity and ingenious approach to accommodating the diverse needs of multiple generations.
