Sufi Table by Yılmaz Dogan

Yılmaz Dogan's Sufi Table is a dynamic design inspired by the Mevlevi philosophy, blending purity, love, and humanism with simplicity. The grooved conical carrier leg, reminiscent of the symbolic shape of the Mevlevi Dervish's Tennure, allows for adjustable height, transforming the table into a versatile piece suitable for various functions in residential, office, and public spaces.

The Sufi Table, with its 140 cm diameter upper table made of wood or marble, can serve at different heights ranging from 70 cm to 90 cm. Its design reflects the essence of Sufism, aiming to convey inner peace and simplicity while meeting the changing needs of its users.

Completed in March 2018 in Ankara, the Sufi Table is the result of Yılmaz Dogan's deep research and modern interpretation of the Mevlevi philosophy, culminating in a design that embodies the essence of a 750-year-old culture.
