Residential House Design: C'est La Vie

Chung Yi Chun's C'est La Vie design offers a fresh perspective on residential living, with a focus on maximizing space for family activities. The over-sized master bedroom features a reconfigured layout, providing separate zones for a dressing room and a bath space. The use of circular arcs elegantly resolves spatial inefficiencies, creating a visually stunning and functional living environment.

The design's unique properties include a captivating floral scene at the entrance, created by the curved enclosure of the master bedroom's headboard. A full circle of light tape on the living room ceiling guides the entrance pathway, enhancing the sense of spaciousness and visual appeal.

The integration of natural elements such as stone bricks, paint, and wood, along with metal accents, infuses the space with vitality and refinement, striking a balance between functionality, aesthetics, and spatial transparency.

Dimensions: 100 square meters

The dining area is accentuated by an iron display cabinet, serving as a striking focal point during dining hours and providing a platform for showcasing treasured collections. The project was completed in 2023, and the design incorporates engineered hardwood flooring, Italian paint, iron parts, grille, and titanium plating.

The C'est La Vie design project was awarded Bronze in the A' Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design Award in 2024, recognizing its outstanding creativity and ingenious spatial arrangements that contribute to quality of life improvements.
