Wingspan Concealed Realm: A Unique Residential Design

Tzu Chen Tuan presents "Wingspan Concealed Realm," a captivating two-bedroom single-story residence designed to embrace the beauty of the ocean. This 60-square-meter space is meticulously crafted to provide a seamless blend of functionality and aesthetics, offering a transformative living experience for a small family's vacation needs.

The design's standout feature is the removal of the partition wall between the master bedroom and living room, replaced by a symbolic black arch frame, creating a dynamic and open ambiance. The master bedroom showcases large windows for breathtaking sea views and innovative design elements, such as a suspended, swiveling black-framed mirror and wall-mounted rounded vanity, enhancing the interplay of light and shadow.

Emphasizing a low visual weight, the design employs a soothing color palette and carefully selected furniture and soft furnishings to elevate the sensory experience, with a focus on tactile differences and textural contrasts.

Another notable aspect of the project is the strategic use of black frames to symbolically delineate dynamic and static zones, achieving a harmonious balance between expansive views and an unrestricted sense of openness.

The project, which commenced in January 2022 and concluded in May 2022 in China, draws inspiration from spatial psychology, addressing the human need for order and security while maximizing the visual flow and sense of freedom.

This innovative design has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category, celebrating its practicality, innovation, and ability to meet professional and industrial requirements.
