Alpha Series Shaver: Redefining Men's Grooming

Mert Ali Bukulmez presents the Alpha Series Shaver, a compact, semi-professional shaver that offers a hygienic solution with an innovative approach and beautiful aesthetics. The design, inspired by Scandinavian minimalism, focuses on simplicity, functionality, and easy user interaction to deliver a joyful grooming experience.

The shaver features a unique interaction point with an LED light that provides feedback on battery status. The accompanying dock not only charges the shaver but also cleans the tips with UV light, ensuring a tidy and germ-free storage solution.

The project, which commenced in May 2019 in Istanbul, Turkey, was driven by in-depth research and focus groups to address existing grooming challenges and consumer demands. Overcoming challenges in sketch ideation, the design culminated in a patented creation that redefines personal care products.
