Bloom: Succulent Dedicated Grow Box

Mert Ali Bukulmez, a product design student from Istanbul, Turkey, has created Bloom, a succulent dedicated grow box, inspired by the unique connection between urban dwellers and their plants. The project, which started in October 2019 at Nottingham Trent University, UK, was completed in December 2019.

Bloom is designed to bridge the gap between urban living and the desire for a greener environment. It offers a mobile application for users to nurture and care for their plants, aiming to assist consumers in maintaining a connection with nature despite the challenges of urban life.

The design, awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2020, is a testament to Mert Ali Bukulmez's exceptional industrial design skills and his dedication to creating products that enhance the lives of users. The product's technical drawings and detailed specifications are included in a PDF document, showcasing the meticulous research and development process behind Bloom.
