Design Unveiled: Villa Mistral

Mercurio Design Lab S.r.l. presents Villa Mistral, a residential masterpiece nestled in Sentosa Cove, Singapore. Inspired by the seasonal northwesterly wind that blows across the Mediterranean, the design reflects the image of a powerful boat driving through the water, exuding a dynamic solidity. The structure seamlessly integrates with the surrounding landscape, offering a unique island character that sets it apart from traditional houses.

Villa Mistral defies conventional architectural forms by mimicking a boat, creating a seamless blend with the waterfront living environment. The design features angular outward-leaning structural elements and glazed walls, replicating the experience of being inside a powerful vessel driving through the sea. The integration of timber, concrete, and varying scales of windows adds a rhythmic quality to the facade.

The four-level villa offers an entertainment room in the basement, bedrooms including the master suite on the second level, and a spacious open concept living and dining lounge on the top floor. The attic lounge leads to a large roof terrace with a jacuzzi, providing a perfect space for hosting parties and enjoying the spectacular views of Sentosa Cove.

Located on the tranquil eastern coast of Sentosa Island, Sentosa Cove offers tropical resort living and is just a fifteen-minute drive from mainland Singapore. The construction of Villa Mistral began in 2009 and was completed in 2017, presenting a unique blend of luxury and functionality in a breathtaking setting.
