dash. Unveils the DA18 Sling: A Minimalistic Urban Sling Bag

The DA18 Sling, designed by Ms. Nuttida Kedjarun, is a minimal take on the functional sling bag, distilling it into the purest functional form that is both pleasing to use and complementary to the user's style. The unisex DA18 Sling features a self-closing magnetic enclosure that can be opened with one finger and is designed for increased mobility, with an oversized adjustable leather strap for sturdiness and carrying comfort. The bag can be worn on the back or across the chest for added security.

Utilizing traditional leather craft combined with modern cutting and sewing machinery, the DA18 Sling achieves a unique, formed curve and edge finishing, relying heavily on the expertise of skilled artisans to achieve a refined and consistent result. With dimensions of 25 x 16 x 6cm and weighing 400g, the bag is made of leather and offers a rear zipper pouch for quick access to frequently used items.

The project began in late November 2019 and was completed in March 2020, with the product subsequently launched for online and offline sale in July 2020. The design process involved studying the lifestyle of specific users, observing their day-off activities, and road-testing prototypes to fine-tune the design for practical real-world use.
