About Suzhou Creek Waterfront and Campus Landscape
The designer demolished the modern buildings with poor style and fences to combine the original separate campus landscape with the waterfront landscape, in order to present the excellent historical features along the Suzhou Creek to the public. The riverside area was extended. Eliminated steps, eliminated height difference through gentle slope, and greatly increase pedestrian space. The original landscape form of pedestrian footpath and plant greening, was transformed into a new model of campus landscape, shared space and riverside promenade.
