FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Mo Zheng, in collaboration with AntiStatics Architecture, introduces the Vicutu Concept, a groundbreaking flagship store that redefines the spatial experience of fashion. The store, located in Beijing's Daxing District, is a testament to the fusion of architectural innovation and fashion sensibilities.
The Vicutu Concept store is a marvel of design, featuring a large-scale three-dimensional aluminum woven system that reflects the production process and fabric properties of men's clothing on its facade. The interior space is a symphony of textures, simulating natural phenomena, creating an immersive environment for visitors.
Throughout the store, the intertwined diagrid language creates a unity through its varied expression and implementation as detail, adding an additional layer of reference to the woven nature of fashion. The project serves as a deep and multifaceted showpiece for the client, exhibiting the latest designs of the brand and illustrating the potentials for innovation within unique collaborations with other industries like architecture.
Within three years of design and construction (2020-2022), the Vicutu Concept store has become a prominent feature at the promenade street front of Shangde Center, showcasing the brand's Gornia, Vicutu Blue Label, and Vicutu Red Label. The design concept is extracted from the "V" shape of the VICUTU brand and integrated into the flexible weaving to form an ecological diagrid system from the stitching natural of the fashion fabric.
The Vicutu Concept was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence in architecture and structure design.
