Forest of Art: A Unique Wonderland Inspired Landscape Design

Hsu Fu Chu, a renowned designer from Taichung City, Taiwan, has unveiled the enchanting "Forest of Art," a landscape design project that reimagines urban spaces. Inspired by the fairy tale, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, the project is a hidden art country nestled in the city, located at the junction of three parks. The design seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor scenes, interpreting artistic resonance through a captivating blend of design and storytelling.

The project, spanning 2000 square meters, is a testament to innovative design realization technology. The interior space on the second floor features a unique loop layout, allowing visitors to be surrounded by breathtaking views and experience a sense of wonder. The multi-layer planting and arc-shaped sky walkway create a forest-like ambiance, seamlessly connecting the building with the urban landscape.

Completed in October 2020, the Forest of Art challenges traditional landscape design by overcoming spatial limitations. By turning the building 45 degrees to face the nearby school, the design team successfully created a captivating space that harmonizes with its surroundings.

The Forest of Art was awarded the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding creativity, technical excellence, and innovative approach. This unique urban oasis stands as a testament to Hsu Fu Chu's visionary design philosophy and commitment to creating captivating, sustainable environments.
