Aedas Unveils Zhuhai MCC Shengshi International Plaza

Aedas proudly presents the Zhuhai MCC Shengshi International Plaza, a groundbreaking mixed-use project that draws inspiration from the graceful contours of the Dragon Fish, infusing the urban landscape with a sense of artistic modernity. The project, located on Hengqin Island in Zhuhai, China, is set to enrich the city's skyline with its distinctive form and multifunctional offerings. The design concept, influenced by the fluidity of the Dragon Fish, incorporates wave-shaped aluminum plates on the facade, creating a visually striking and energy-efficient structure.

The Hengqin MCC Shengshi International Plaza is strategically positioned as the Bridgehead of the Zhuhai-Macau port, boasting two high-rise office towers, podium retail spaces, and a rooftop garden. This mix of functions not only enhances the city's architectural profile but also fulfills diverse functional and planning requirements, making it a landmark development in the region.

Constructed with a focus on sustainability, the project features green roofs that improve insulation performance and reduce heat gain, contributing to energy conservation. The design team, led by Dr. Andy Wen, meticulously crafted the development to integrate natural light and vitality, evident in the tall, light-filled atrium spaces and the glass canopy crowning the tower's interior. The rooftop commercial villa and podium complement each other, creating a harmonious interaction between the different elements of the development.
