2019 Admissions Welcome Package DGUT

Designer Ruikang Xie has unveiled the Freshman Admission Notice Gift Box for the 2019 new students of Dongguan University of Technology. The gift box features the red Lingnan lychee as the core pattern, symbolizing a warm welcome to the students. The design aims to encourage the young people of the new era to be patriotic, inspirational, truth-pursuing, and practical, uniting and revitalizing China.

The departure gift boxes for three consecutive years are based on the natural growth law, with the 2019 edition adopting the litchi fruit, a specialty of Dongguan, Guangdong, China, as the core pattern. The design showcases the unique cultural and creative packaging, emphasizing the inspiration and humanities behind the creation.

Realized with intricate detail, the gift box features a laser-engraved wooden postcard that can be taken down, crossed into a three-dimensional lychee pattern, and used as a pendant. The box also contains letters, gifts, an atlas of red revolutionary tourism attractions, badges, stickers, postcards, and more, providing an interactive and informative experience for the new students.
