Exploring the Fusion of Aesthetics and Chinese Characters

Renowned designer CHIA-HUI LIEN presents the "2019 Creative Poster Design Exhibition: A Crossover between Aesthetics and Chinese Characters," a groundbreaking showcase that utilizes the beauty of Chinese language and characters to transform texts into visual symbols. The central idea of innovation and font design as a new embodiment approach are explored through the design of posters, probing future possibilities in line with the beauty of "crossover," "aesthetics," and "Chinese characters." The exhibition took place at Tung-Fang Design University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in November 2019.

This series of works is centered around the design of Chinese characters as the main visual axis, presenting the structure of the characters in a rotating and gradient manner. The exhibition highlights the fusion of aesthetics and Chinese characters, offering a unique perspective on the beauty and innovation of font design.

Utilizing specially printed posters and invitation cards, the exhibition emphasizes the intricate details of font design. The design of the structure of the Chinese character font using the strokes of the font line required extensive time and testing, showcasing the dedication and precision involved in the creative process.
