CHIA-HUI LIEN's "The Sun From The East" is a remarkable event image design that draws inspiration from the symbolism of the sun rising from the east, reflecting the continuous development of Tung Fang Design University. The design process involved meticulous structural changes using geometric figures, requiring extensive time and testing to achieve the desired visual impact. The use of bright film and fog film in the printing technology added unique and eye-catching special effects to the printed materials, including books, posters, and invitation cards.

Published in Taiwan on May 1, 2018, "The Sun From The East" encompasses poster, book, and card designs, with specific dimensions for each. The poster design, in particular, creatively incorporates the 52nd anniversary theme, gradually transforming into the sun's trajectory, symbolizing the school's founding anniversary.
