Cone Pet Bowl by Vladimir Zagorac

Vladimir Zagorac introduces Cone Pet Bowl, a multifunctional and innovative pet bowl designed to nurture good habits in dogs of Small and Medium Size breeds. The unique combination of circular and triangular shapes, along with molded food grade nontoxic polymer and mineral composite, sets this pet bowl apart from others in the market.

The Cone Pet Bowl features a characteristic set of protrusions and recesses that act as physical and psychological guides for pets to use it properly, safely, and with discipline. This intriguing form promotes slow feeding and prevents splashing, making it a perfect fit for any modern interior.

When serving food, the structure provides stability on any ground surface, prevents capsizing, and dictates a slow meal, preventing potential stomach problems. When serving water, the top edge guides the pet's head to the optimal central position above the bowl, reducing spillage and forming barriers for splashing water.

The project, which took place in Belgrade, Serbia, lasted for two months and was the result of extensive research on the problems of everyday usage, slow-motion footage of different breeds drinking water, and the characteristic anatomy of a rolled tongue. The design was awarded Silver in A' Pet Care, Toys, Supplies and Products for Animals Design Award in 2023.
