Literkolekcja: A Photobook by Aleksandra Toborowicz

Aleksandra Toborowicz, a renowned Polish graphic designer, muralist, and academic, presents "Literkolekcja," a captivating photobook that celebrates the diverse forms of letter expression found in public spaces. This unique project, realized in Kraków, Poland in 2022, is a culmination of Toborowicz's decade-long photographic documentation of lettering, typography, and calligraphy from around the world.

The photobook, featuring 383 photos captured mainly with a mobile phone, offers a raw and unfiltered portrayal of lettering and typography, deliberately devoid of artificial aesthetics. Toborowicz's deliberate choice to showcase imperfections in typography reflects the authentic nature of the art captured in the photographs.

With a format of 16.5 x 16.5 cm and Swiss binding, "Literkolekcja" allows the album to lay flat, enhancing the viewing experience.
