Seaview: A Lamp Design by Bruce Tao

Bruce Tao introduces Seaview, a lamp design inspired by the scenic beauty of the seaside. The design features a unique integration of the sun and moon as the on/off switch, offering a distinctive and functional lighting experience. The lamp's unique properties include sun and moon-shaped bulbs, with the sun emitting white light and the moon emitting yellow light. Users can adjust the brightness and color by simply pushing the bulbs, providing a classic and romantic atmosphere.

The Seaview lamp is made of aluminum alloy, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance. The base is constructed of plastic to maintain a comfortable temperature for users. Measuring 30cm in length, 7.2cm in width, and 30cm in height, the lamp offers a compact and versatile lighting solution for various spaces.

Designed with no external switch, the Seaview lamp offers a seamless and intuitive user interaction. Users can simply place their hand on the bulb and push it to turn the light on and off, as well as adjust the brightness and color. The design team, led by Jingbin An and including designer Yuan Zhong, overcame complex internal structure challenges to bring this innovative lamp to life.
