Renowned Designer Tetsuya Matsumoto Unveils Innovative Post-Pandemic Office Design in Osaka, Japan

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Matsuo Gakuin's New Office Space Sets a New Standard for Safety and Functionality

Renowned designer Tetsuya Matsumoto has unveiled a groundbreaking office design, Toshin PostPandemic, aimed at redefining office spaces in the new normal. Inspired by the global pandemic, the space offers a seamless blend of functionality and safety, setting a new standard for post-pandemic office environments. The office, located in Osaka City, Japan, boasts unique features designed to protect users while ensuring uninterrupted functionality.

The space is highlighted by a lightning-shaped board running along the office, separating it into two entities through a series of alternating glass shields, providing protection from droplets while allowing air and document circulation. The innovative design, realized using cutting-edge technology, offers a glimpse into the future of office spaces in the post-pandemic era.

With a gross built area of 133sqm, the project commenced in August 2020 and was completed in October 2020, showcasing the efficiency and creativity of the design team in overcoming the challenges posed by the global pandemic. The office's unique design and functionality make it a trendsetting creation that reflects the designer's prodigy and wisdom, earning it the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2021.
