Guangzhou Ruoyuchen Technology Co., Ltd., a prominent e-commerce company in China, has unveiled its new brand identity designed by Fengnan Lin. The inspiration for the new logo comes from the themes of People, Communication, and Globalization. The logo is a combination of basic punctuation marks, the initial "R," and the industry attribute "shopping cart," symbolizing the company's role as a bridge between millions of Chinese families and global quality brands.
The logo, composed of an exclamation point, comma, and period, represents expertise, perseverance, and perfection, as well as new beginnings and pursuits. The simple yet impactful design is adaptable across various mediums, including business cards, badges, notebooks, gift packages, and canvas bags, employing techniques such as foil silver and screen printing.
The design team, led by Fengnan Lin, also included Xiulin Chen, Jingxia Huang, Liqing Xian, Ziyang Zhuang, Yingqiang Zhang, and Liqiong Yang. The project was initiated to mark Ruoyuchen's 10th anniversary and to signify a brand vision upgrade, presenting a unique challenge to find a design language that effectively encapsulates the company's industry attributes and corporate culture.
Fengnan Lin, a design enthusiast from Guangzhou, China, is known for his expertise in enhancing brand equity through visual positioning and management. His work on the RYC brand identity was recently recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category, acknowledging his outstanding creativity and contribution to quality of life improvements through design.
