CHINA -- /DESIGN/newswire -- Aug 01, 2021

Fengnan Lin's Free brand identity upgrade reflects a youthful attitude, reshaping the brand for the modern consumer.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Free Brand Identity Upgrade

Fengnan Lin's Free brand identity upgrade aims to revitalize the brand's image, catering to the aesthetic trends of the modern consumer. The new visual specification system ensures consistency and flexibility for both online and offline channels, capturing the attention of the younger consumer group.

The unique design features a subtly rising "F" and cleverly linked "e" letters, symbolizing a young and optimistic attitude. This innovative approach creates a unified and extensible brand vision, setting Free apart from the competition.

The brand's new visual identity is realized through the application of the "ee" auxiliary graphic in various work scenarios, utilizing advanced printing and paint processes. The technical specifications include business cards, badges, document bags, and canvas bags, each meticulously crafted to reflect the brand's new youthful image.

Fengnan Lin's design team, including Yingqiang Zhang and Xiaofang Teng, contributed to the successful realization of this brand identity upgrade. The design reflects the modern women's pursuit of freedom and self-expression, resonating with the Gen Z consumer segment.

The project, completed in Guangzhou, China, in July 2021, addressed the challenge of reshaping an aging brand into a trendy, youthful image. The brand's new positioning, "Free to be me," encapsulates the essence of the design, conveying a fresh and modern attitude to consumers.
